Handyman / Home Improvement (Yes, this is definitely a Lynchburg, VA review)

I needed some repairs around the house, mostly cosmetic. Things I was too lazy or too busy to do. Enter Ken.

Ken is super easy to deal with and probably the most honest and hard working guy I have met. Forget the word "handyman" because this is not someone who does this as a side-gig. He knows what he is doing and is well versed in all aspects of home repair.

I had been looking for about 2 weeks to get someone over to give me a quote. One company with a snazzy website actually wanted to charge me for a quote - imagine that. Ken came over when he said he would and looked at the jobs we needed help with. His quote was totally acceptable and he was able to get going relatively quickly.

Here's the best part: he showed up at the appointed day and time which is quite the feat in Lynchburg. He and his son knocked out the jobs on schedule and on budget and he was super flexible with me tossing in some last minute additions to the list.

He fixed everything beautifully and was just a great guy to chat with while he was working.

For reference: He repaired dry rotted boards on my deck, stained the deck, painted an extremely high ceiling stairwell, repaired vaulted ceiling drywall tape and did a small roof repair.

I highly recommend Ken and his company for any repair work you need.

Ken has done copious amounts of work for us. Building our back deck, repairing and replacing our front porch, renovating our laundry room (to include installing plumbing for the hot and cold water and drain system for the washer), drywall installation, running a new electrical system for our new washer and dryer, replacing and rewiring electrical outlets, replacing new ceiling fans. He's even helped us with a roof leak.
